udaysagar2177 9eed0e3265 add pre-shutdown action to be executed inside ChronicleHashCloseOnExitHook. 
This is useful when we want to do an orderly shutdown.
For example: To carry out graceful shutdown and explicitly control when a ChronicleHash
is closed, a pre-shutdown action can be a wait on a CountDownLatch that would be released
appropriately.

leventov 2f58bfb399 Replace nextPosToSearchFrom with lowestPossiblyFreeChunk semantically, that allows to avoid searching free chunks though a full tier, when segment is tiered, again and again. Rob Austin 84a9581c7f HCOLL-218 ReplicatedChronicleMapTest appears to use too much resources - I've looked at other tests as well and have attempted to ensure that close is called on every test, also prompting the GC to run after each test. 2014-11-26 16:24:57 +00:00
